JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist talk show host in all aspects of promotion, production, and execution of a daily, one-hour issues- and family-oriented major-market talk program. Write copy, produce commercials and promos; assist in facilitating promotions and marketing for two active radio stations. Some board operator duties required. Limited weekend availability is required.

QUALIFICATIONS: 3 years’ medium to major-market radio or television experience preferred. Program producing experience preferred. Computer capability and digital editing skills required. Must be able to provide own reliable transportation.

Winning candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work several projects at a time. The Talk Show Producer/Production Assistant will interact daily with management, sales, programming, and the general public. This position reports to the Program Manager.
